Net evaluation
Net evaluation with NEMO1
The Net Evalution Modell NEMO calculates the path requirements for a prognostic timetable based on actual train numbers and the demand forecast. RailSys refines the path requirements and creates a prognostic timetable with consideration of the actual timetable. The automatic path search routine generates the additional train paths.
The capacity of the new timetable can be determined with the automatic capacity calculation in accordance with UIC regulations.

The Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) is using the combination of RailSys and NEMO to evaluate future infrastructure scenarios under consideration of the forecasted passenger and freight traffic. The connection NEMO/RailSys allows the identification of expected capacity bottlenecks. Furthermore, the degree of free capacity is represented by the number of further train paths which could be added into the prognostic timetable.
