Research and development
The Rail Management Consultants GmbH brings in its extensive expertise in the fields of software development and consulting in order to undertake research and development projects. The broad technical knowledge of railway engineers flows in as well as the know-how in software development. RMCon Germany develops algorithms for route search in European railway networks and intelligent scheduling systems for rail traffic. As part of the software engineering implementation, client-server technologies are used. As a human-machine interface, user-friendly and intuitive Web interfaces are developed.
As part of research projects RMCon cooperates very closely with the Institute of Transport, Railway Construction and Operation of the University of Braunschweig (IVE, Prof. Thomas Siefer) and with the Consulting Company for Traffic and Railway Engineering Ltd., Hannover (IVE mbH, Prof. Thomas Siefer and Priv.-Doz. Dr.-Ing. habil. Alfons Radtke), the main shareholder of the Rail Management Consultants GmbH.
